Cheap Trick x KISS
American rock band, Cheap Trick, pay tribute to KISS during a live, televised performance.
Task: Design 2 drumheads for the crossover event.
OUTCOME
IDEATION
The goal of this project was to take a famous, recognizable design from both bands and change the lettering to reflect the other band. i.e. a Cheap Trick design in KISS style and vice versa.
PROCESS
Both designs were created entirely in Illustrator. Much care and deliberation was taken to ensure the designs resembled the original logos.
